two looks from my rough draft; first of two children's wear concepts; the final illustrations will be put on presentation board for our critique with the women from lily pulitzer next wednesday. I'm super nervous! these will be meticulously re-drawn and rendered and then one garment will be chosen out of the two concepts. the cargo pockets on the pants and bolero will be studded and rendered in the final drawings with metallic marker.

also, every sophomore in the fashion department was required to submit a boot design to LL Bean back in september, and apparently mine got 6th place..? pretty awesome considering I didn't even expect to get anything out of it!

I cannot believe how well my children's wear project is going. I was really nervous about my designs, but it seems like everything is beginning to come together. I can't wait for my final plates to be approved so I can share them!

I am on spring break for the week, and we get a snowstorm. how lovely?

I can't believe how quickly summer is approaching. I feel like I'm being eaten alive by my own mental state and I need to escape for a week. I want it to be July. I want to get on a plane and lay on beach.
